
AiAfricaPLC Electronic Institute for African companies
The ETIA, is an online Lab for African companies, traders, trade and procurement ministries, regulators, business academics and business associations, to build capacity in the efficient use of eCommerce, eProcurement, eCustoms, eTrade Exchanges and Web Based Trade Finance, Blockchain and Supply Chain Management Technologies.
The ETIA is designed to provide engaging, interactive learning experiences to:
- African Government Regulators, Procurement and Trade Ministries
- Chambers of Commerce
- Trade Associations
- Export Development Organizations
- SME’s and Corporates
- African Banks and Micro Finance Organisations
This ETIA exists to assist empower the capacity of African governments, regulators, SME’s and the private sector, to support the realization of the goals of the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA), through intra African export led growth, through eTrade, RegTech, and eCommerce. In particular, the ETIA fosters international partnerships and provides a platform for training and technology transfer, to accelerate Africa’s industrialization, increasing the continents’ global trade competitiveness, as a source rather than destination market through its dedicated Accelerator and Supplier Development Programme.

AiAfricaPLC Accelerator Programme
The ETIA Accelerator Programme is a private sector-led, Digital Optimisation Accelerator which supports the AUDA-Continental Business Network (CBN) ecosystem, to support eTrade and RegTech digital optimisation programmes. It brings together Businesses, Regulators, Universities, SME’s, Investors, tech-preneurs and development finance institutions, to develop Africa’s eTrade marketecture.
The Accelerator offers online training, a Fin-RegTech Marketplace, a Community Board, Digital Sandbox Challenges, peer and global knowledge crowding circles and eTrade and RegTech Policy Toolkits to assist Governments and Regulators.
ETIA Accellerator Hackathon Challenges
ETIA Accelerator Hackathon Challenges, provide access for public and private sector African trade tech innovators, to participate in a unique series of eTrade and RegTech Dragons Den style hackathons, that facilitate access to essential tech and tools for developers to build innovative applications that support the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA).
ETIA Hackathon Challenges are adjudicated by AfricaPLC’s panel of Shark Tank style Tech investors that will support successful winners bring their AfCFTA supportive applications and software products to market.
